New photo tour, podcast and more!
Lots of stuff to share in this journal entry. I announced a new photography tour in Iceland and participated in some interviews. Read on!
New photography tour announced!
I'm happy to announce that I will again organise a winter photography tour along the Icelandic south coast. The tour will take place from November 22nd until the 28th 2018. Crystal blue ice caves underneath Vatnajökull, glaciers and the beautiful area of Þórsmörk are all included stops. I decided to keep to keep the group small so there can be much more flexibility during the trip - a must when travelling around for photography. More information (pricing, itinerary, ...) can be found on the South Coast Winter Photography tour page.
Last year Adinda participated in this tour and she had the following to say about it:
"It was a pleasure to have a look behind the scences on how Jeroen works. His photos look so natural as he knows where to be in the right place at the right time. I've received a lot of professional advice and feedback on how to create stunning landscape images. You did an amazing job and I can't thank you enough!"
Interview with This Adventure Life
Some time ago I got interviewed by Kirsten from This Adventure Life- a website about people who decided to jump into the deep end of the pool (explorers, adventurers and travellers). The interview was mostly about why I got involved into photography, why Iceland inspires me for my photography, ... I was super happy with the outcome so I hope you will take some time to read a little bit more about me behind my camera. And if you don't like to read you can always enjoy the photos that come with the article!
The entire interview can be found and read on This Adventure Life's website.
Podcast with Iceland Ringroad
I recently got interviewed by Marc Herbrechter, a big Iceland enthusiast, on his Icelands Ringroad's podcast (Islands Ringstraßefor you German-speakers out there). The talk was mostly about the area of Þórsmörk, 4x4 driving in Iceland and how to cross rivers on those 4x4-roads. I really enjoyed doing this and I hope you will enjoy the recording!
That was it for now. Soon I will open up the ability to buy prints directly from my own webshop- accompanied with a giveaway of one of my canvas prints. Stay tuned!
